Miwok/Simmons Neighborhood in Novato
Located in northwest Novato, this area is adjacent to San Marin, just to the south. There is a range of single-family homes, from Eichler-inspired 1950s houses on Feliz Dr. to 1970s Ranchers to larger, semi-custom homes built between the 1980s and today. Some homes sit on relatively large lots (10,000 square feet or more). This neighborhood also encompasses Parkhaven, a townhome complex in a serene setting.
The Miwok/Simmons area boasts two large public parks: Pioneer Park on Simmons Avenue and Miwok Park on Novato Blvd. There is also a shopping center with an IGA Market, a Long's Drugs, a fabulous Deli called Tagliaferri's, and several other stores and restaurants.
