Partridge Knolls in Novato
Partridge Knolls refers to not one, but two quiet communities nestled in the foothills of Mt. Burdell in northwest Novato. There's Partridge Knolls I and Partridge Knolls II, built a decade apart (late 1970s and late 1980s/1990s, respectively). There is a mix of townhomes (Courtyard at Partridge Knolls), single family homes and luxury custom homes. The communities border open space and many homes have beautiful views.
Partridge Knolls I is closer to the heart of San Marin, off Simmons Avenue about 1/2 mile from Highway 101 at the Atherton Avenue/San Marin exit. The newer Partridge Knolls subdivision is closer to the freeway and enjoys a spectacular hillside setting.
In Partridge Knolls I, a 2,000 square foot Ranch-style home may start in the $600,000-$700,000s. A 2-story, 2,500 square foot single family home in Partridge Knolls II starts at about $700,000.
